What’s important when it comes to health is not killing ALL of the germs around you. It leads to making your body resistant to bad bacteria. Here are some great tips:

  1. Mind & soul 👉🏼 stay positive. Praying, meditation & taking some time to ground yourself is where you will find strength health & a strong body that is able to process pathogens quicker.

  2. H2O 👉🏼 drinking water is vital to our organs. It also keeps the mucus membranes moist so they can better flush out bacteria & viruses.

  3. 💤 👉🏼 your body can't fight off disease if it's exhausted, using all energy to function & loaded with cortisol (stress hormones.)

  4. Consume more raw fruits & veggies but limit meats, if your body doesn’t have to waste a bunch of energy on digesting it is easier to bounce back & heal illness. Try to eliminate sugary snacks & treats. Sugar is highly inflammatory & lowers your immune system👎🏼

  5. Take immune support supplements:

👌🏼Vitamin D from the sun is critical any synthetic like cholecalciferol is basically rat poison. Link

👌🏼Zinc - most are zinc deficient & it’s vital in fighting sickness.

👌🏼Vitamin C - camu camu is the most bioavailable & whole food based. I have several camu camu liposomal available.

👌🏼 Rub some Silver gel inside your nose when leaving the house for work or errands.

👌🏼Diffuse germ fighting essential oils or other antibacterial, anti-viral oils such as lemon, thyme, eucalyptus, pine, cinnamon, oregano etc in your home for a few hours each day.

What supplements should you have on hand if the virus hits?

Olive leaf - the olive leaf has been used for medicinal purposes since the 1800’s when they were used to treat fever and malarial infections. It contains phytochemicals (plant molecules) that have been shown to be effective against colds, flu, and other viral illnesses, fungal, bacterial and parasitic infections.

N- acetyl cysteine - helps break up mucus and has been used since the 1960’s as medicine for respiratory illnesses.

Cordyceps - an edible fungus that is known to combat fatigue, enhance vitality and promote longevity. It has a warm sweet flavor and it is used as a tonic, astringent, expectorant and anti-asthmatic.

Yarrow- alleviates inflammation, arrests bleeding, relaxes muscle spasms, prevents blood clots and acts as an astringent and expectorant. Studies have also confirmed antibiotic properties. Note: people allergic to ragweed May experience allergic reactions to yarrow.

Mullein Leaf - This has been used to support upper respiratory issues & can be used to make a nourishing tea that’s been used in ancient medicine. We have mullein leaf tea available at our 2 locations. Drinking tea from this yellow flowered plant helps to relieve issues like sore throat, cough, colds, hoarseness and bronchitis. Some even use it to ease digestive complains like diarrhea and joint pain. To make the tea, the leaves are simply simmered in boiling water and then strained.. It dilates bronchioles and helps expel phlegm, which is helpful if you have upper respiratory symptoms. You can take the capsules orally, make tea & rub a tincture on your chest to relieve tightness in the airways.

Vitamin C - Camu camu is the most bioavailable option & one that works time & time again. Camu camu is rich in vitamin C. Dr Axe posts that Vitamin C plays many important roles in your body. For example, it helps strengthen your immune system and is needed for the formation of collagen, a protein that supports your skin, bones, and muscles. What’s more, vitamin C acts as a powerful antioxidant, protecting your cells from unstable molecules called free radicals. Though free radicals are a normal byproduct of cellular function, too many can be formed as a result of stress, poor diet, and exposure to pollution. When free radicals outnumber antioxidants in your body, it leads to a condition called oxidative stress, which has been linked to chronic conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.

Eating foods rich in antioxidants like vitamin C can help prevent oxidative stress and combat free radical damage. However, due to its strong sour taste, it’s rarely eaten fresh and typically sold in powder form. Since the powder has had all water removed, it contains more vitamin C per gram compared to the fresh berries. Keep in mind that the level of vitamin C in camu camu products can vary depending on, for example, where the fruit was grown. This is the #1 most trusted brand I recommend & use daily.

Additional brands to look for when purchasing: Physica Energetics (only available through me), Klaire Labs, Mary Ruth, Seeking Health & Eidon.
